Use of rectangular pipe:
The rectangular pipe used for metal works and constructions, agricultural industry, highway guardrails, furniture, vehicle parts.
It is one of the most versatile and useful steel products. The uniform geometric shape ensures constant resistance along the entire length within the constructions where there are loads on two or several axes.
We distribute both the rectangular pipe obtained by cold deformation (standard EN 10219), and hot-finished rectangular pipe (standard EN 10210). As specified in the standard, the mechanical characteristics, tolerances and properties of the cross section are slightly different.
The hot-finished rectangular pipes ensure greater deformation possibilities and are suitable for uses subject to dynamic forces, and the cold-formed pipes ensure high mechanical resistance and high yield point. They are used to make fixed load-bearing structures in civil, industrial and mechanical constructions. Cold-formed tubular sections stand static pressures, but show low shock resistance.
