Thermally galvanized concrete steel bars for construction can be delivered in the ribbed or non-ribbed version.

They are rarely used due to the additional costs of hot-dip galvanizing. But this process is very important, because it offers an important high resistance to corrosion.

There are projects where only this type of product must be used, or other galvanized metallurgical products, and we can help you to achieve them.

Thermally galvanized concrete steel – uses and advantages

From hot galvanized concrete steel, galvanized fittings can be made for:

• pillars;

• prefabricated elements.

Galvanizing of concrete steel is performed by immersing the bars in a bath of molten zinc. For hanging the bars, you can use wire tying at the ends or welding of technical washers. After the hot-dip galvanizing process, the washers can be removed by mechanical cutting. After that, the area is repaired with a spray rich in zinc.

Details and types/classes of hot-dip galvanized concrete steel:

• diameter 8.00 – 28.00 mm;
• striated or smooth concrete steel (without ribs);
• concrete steel type/class: OB 37, PC 52, PC 60 and BST500.

The most common and marketed type is PC52 galvanized concrete steel.

In addition to those described above, we can deliver galvanized concrete steel of atypical sizes or fixed lengths – prefabricated.

In general, the execution term for galvanized concrete steel is about 12-15 working days for the products in stock, respectively galvanized concrete steel. Depending on the project, we can discuss and approximate an execution term for products that are not in stock.
