Challenges for the EU steel industry

„The main challenges for the steel industry in the European Union are related to the obligation to reduce carbon emissions in the atmosphere, the adjacent costs – raw materials, energy – the competition with producers from the third world and the need to continue to attract and keep highly qualified workforce”, informs the industry page of the European Commission.
