Delivery of platbanda atypical sizes

We quickly deliver platbanda atypical dimensions or from the usual range, anywhere in the country.

A collaborator asked us to deliver 12 meters of steel plate 165 x 60 mm to make a prototype.

This delivery contains: Metal plate 165 x 60 x 6000 mm – 2 bars x 6 meters Steel quality S235JR.

Platbanda atypical dimensions – manufacturing method

This size does not exist as a product in the manufacturers’ usual manufacturing nomenclature. We mutually agreed to make this product from 60 mm thick sheet.

Thus, we cut two 165 mm wide sheet metal strips with oxygas over a length of 6 meters, as our client needed.

Cutting with oxygas was done according to EN ISO 9013.

The cutting tolerance is -/+ 2 mm.

Considering that the sheet is very thick (60 mm) and cannot be cut with oxygas in a single pass without deforming, I left a bridge every 1.5 meters by 1.5 meters, including at the ends, in order to prevent bending / deformation of the sheet. After it was cut along the entire length, it was returned to the place of the bridges and they were also removed. In the area of ​​the spikes 5 in number (2 on the ends and 3 in the middle), after their removal, there remain some forms of round pinches of approx. 3-4 mm.

In addition to this specially executed product, we also loaded/delivered for the same project:        

• Longitudinally welded steel square pipe 100 x 100 x 3 x 6000 mm, quality S235JRH – 24 meters;
• Longitudinally welded steel square pipe 120 x 120 x 3 x 6000 mm, quality S235JRH – 6 meters;
• Hot rolled steel plate 60 x 40 x 6000 mm, quality S355J2 – 24 meters;
• Laminated metal Europrofile HEB 140 mm x 12100 mm, quality S275JR – 12.1 meters;
• Laminated metal profile INP (IPN) 300 mm x 12100 mm, quality S275JR – 12.1 meters.
