Metallurgical steel products for a better life!

H Metal: We are very proud that we had the honor to participate with metallurgical steel products used in the realization of a project that brings joy to people.

On 21.07.2015 in Jegalia town, Calarasi county, the investment called Jegalia Commune Theme Park was inaugurated. The theme park was created with European funds obtained through POP (Operational Fisheries Program, Axis 4: Sustainable development of the areas.) The amount of non-refundable financing is 1,112,791 RON.

The official opening was attended by local officials, government representatives, consultants, FLAG representative, construction representatives, representatives. Of construction material suppliers, as well as others participating in the successful completion of the project.

Mr. Aurel Vasile, the mayor of Jegalia commune – a visionary and the heart of this project – thanked everyone who participated in the achievement of this very important goal for the commune and assured the residents of Jegalia commune that he will do everything possible to be able to achieve as many as possible investments of this kind for the commune, investments that raise the socio-economic level of the inhabitants.

Construction of metal elements in the recreation area

The purpose of the investment was to establish a recreational area for residents and potential tourists to spend quality free time. The theme park was created on the site of a marshy land that had meanwhile become a garbage dump, thus achieving 2 objectives: cleaning the garbage area and transforming the area into a beautiful place. In itself, it is about the construction of three suspended wooden platforms over the water surface, pontoons and decks. Specific furniture for children’s playgrounds and urban furniture – benches, pavilions, pergolas – was mounted above the suspended platforms. Also, as part of the project, boats were purchased and are available for leisure trips on the created water surface. The area is also special for the fact that you can observe flora and fauna specific to wetlands in the natural environment, a „mini-delta” according to mayor Aurel Vasile.

The official opening took place in a traditional Romanian style. After the cutting of the inaugural ribbon by the Calarasan officials, there was the consecration of the location by the representatives of the church and the speeches of the officials. The inauguration program ended with a beautiful traditional Romanian artistic moment supported by the Grausorul Folk Ensemble, from Jegalia commune.

Steel metallurgical products – dimensions and use

With the metal products delivered by H Metal, the following were achieved:

• Armature for supporting pillars of suspended platforms made of:
• Smooth concrete steel OB 37 diameter 8 mm in coil;
• PC 52 ribbed concrete steel, diameters 12 and 16 mm in bars;
• BST 500S striated concrete steel, diameter 8 mm;
• BST 500S striated concrete steel, diameter 10 mm.

Structural elements connecting the support pillars and platform support made of:

• Europrofile metal IPE 160 mm, steel quality S275JR, bars of 12.1 meters;
• Laminated corner with equal sides 50 x 50 x 5 mm, quality S235, bars of 12 meters;
• Laminated angle with uneven sides 100 x 50 x 6 mm, quality S275JR, bars of 12 meters;
• Black sheet steel, thickness 8 mm, quality S235JR, format 2000 x 6000 mm;
• Square steel profile pipe 90 x 90 x 5 mm, quality S235JRH, 6 meter bars.
