From a constructive point of view, H Metal produces 4 types of metal fence posts.
Namely, poles: straight (without arm), with straight arm, with inclined arm or with Y-type arm.
Usually, the height of the straight pillars is the same as the height of the bordered panels (max. 2000-2500 H).
In the case of the other types, the pillars continue above the panels. Barbed wire and/or concertina wire can be mounted in this area.
Material – steel pipe
In recent years, steel fence posts have become extremely popular. Many customers recognize the benefits they offer compared to traditional wood or concrete options.
Steel is a material with good mechanical resistance, being perfect for the structure of a fence.
In order to have a longer life span, it is recommended that the fence posts be protected against corrosion.
One of the most appropriate technologies in this regard is thermal galvanizing.
We deliver hot-dip galvanized or hot-dip galvanized and electrostatically painted fence posts from stock or to order.
Depending on the fixing method, the metal fence posts are divided into two categories.
Pillars with a concrete base. The base of the pillars is made of 5 mm or 6 mm steel sheet for those with a thickness of 2 mm.
Poles with anchorage in the ground/concrete. This type of poles have 2 concrete clamps welded to the base, made of concrete steel. If you consider this option, you have to take into account that approximately 500 mm of the height of the pole goes into the concrete.
It `s good to know
From a legal point of view, the fence with a local foundation (only next to the post) or with a continuous foundation (concrete plinth) needs a construction permit.
The fence construction authorization is the final act that regulates the construction of a fence. This is obtained on the basis of several documents and opinions.
