Hot-dip galvanized corner has a high resistance over time

For a high protection against corrosive agents, we recommend the purchase of a hot-dip galvanized corner.

The hot-dip galvanizing process of metallurgical products involves immersing them in a molten zinc bath for a few minutes. Thus, a protective layer of zinc is deposited on the entire surface of the products, forming a barrier between steel and corrosive agents. The deposited zinc layer varies depending on the thickness of the material, the silicon content, the phosphorus content, etc. Considering these aspects, hot-dip galvanizing remains the most effective protection solution for steel products.

The laminated corner with equal wings and the one with unequal wings are robust products and ensure a very good mechanical resistance due to its shape. Today, the corner is present everywhere, whether we are talking about houses, offices, buildings, factories, cars, machines, rockets, etc.

Hot-dip galvanizing extends the life of structures made of steel – metal halls, metal constructions, airplanes, ships, bridges made of metal structures, etc.

Moisture in combination with oxygen deteriorates the steel, thus weakening its mechanical characteristics/resistance. Salty air and sulfur dioxide resulting in the cold season, after heating, accelerate the corrosion of steel.

We, H Metal, deliver hot-dip galvanized metal products. We have galvanized angle brackets in stock, starting with:

• Hot-dip galvanized steel angle 40x40x4 mm;
• Thermally galvanized laminated corner 50x50x5 mm;
• Corner with uneven sides galvanized 60x40x5 mm;
• Galvanized angle 60 x 30 mm.

On order, we can also produce other sizes, for example galvanized angle 25×25 or galvanized angle from 60x60x6 mm, galvanized angle 100×100 with thicknesses between 8-12 mm up to galvanized angle 200x200x15/30 mm.

The production order takes between 12-16 working days depending on the volume of orders and if we have the size in stock at the time the order is launched.

Hot-dip galvanized corner – indicative prices

The prices for galvanized angle brackets are different and it depends on the quantity you need and the place of delivery.

For reference, for information purposes, below you will find some valid prices for a minimum of 500 kg, in 2020.

• Galvanized corner price 40x40x4 mm – minimum 500 kg, that is 35 bars x 6 meters = 125 ron 1 bar;
• Galvanized angle price 50x50x5 mm – minimum 500 kg, means 24 bars x 6 meters = 190 ron 1 bar;
• Galvanized corner price for 60×60 mm – minimum 500 kg, respectively 16 bars = 272 lei 1 bar x 6 meters.

The prices include VAT but without transport. We can provide you with the transport of galvanized angle brackets anywhere in Romania, for a fee. The transport price is calculated depending on the quantity ordered and the place where it must be delivered. The galvanized corner is sold as a 6-meter or 12-meter bar. 6-meter bar for small-sized corners up to 60×60 mm and a full 12-meter bar for galvanized corner sizes larger than 70x7mm up to 200×200 mm galvanized corner.
