To obtain the fire safety permit, the Sansa ta Children’s Center in Bilciuresti commune needed a galvanized fire escape ladder. This was the moment when I received the request to help, in the form of sponsorship, with the realization of this staircase. Responsible behavior means understanding the needs of the community we belong to and improving what we can.

Buildings for education, supervision, care or accommodation/shelter for preschool children, students, students, the elderly, disabled or homeless people. With a built-up area greater than or equal to 150 square meters are those that require a fire safety permit.

Materials used to make a galvanized fire escape ladder:

– corner 30 x 30 x 3 mm for steps and platforms;

– Hea 200 mm profile for stair posts;

– Unp 200 mm profile for vanguts;

– square pipe 40 x 40 x 4 mm and round pipe 48.3 x 4 mm for the balustrade structure;

– 1.5 mm galvanized sheet for balustrade panels;

– galvanized grills and steps;

– fastening elements.

Because it is a ladder used outside, all its elements have been thermally galvanized for a high anti-corrosion protection that ensures the longevity of metal products.

Thermal galvanizing is an anti-corrosion treatment that is applied by immersing the steel in a bath of molten zinc.

The ladder components were made in the workshop and assembled on site with mechanical fasteners so as not to damage the zinc layer.
