Roof with HEA profile structure

H Metal supplied metallurgical products used to create a roof with a structure made of HEA profiles, for an external project. Over time, we have had very good collaborations with partners from abroad.

HEA is a profile with lighter wings compared to the other profiles in the H category, that is why it was used as the main metal profile for the realization of this metal roof support structure.

The total area of ​​the project being large, of 2,980 M2, it is very important that the structure made of HEA profiles has a good flexibility and a suitable resistance, because it will support the entire weight of the roof.

The decision to use HEA profiles in this project was taken by the industrial construction specialists, considering it to be the best option.

The roof was made over the existing structure of prefabricated concrete, having as utility „storage spaces”.

The profiles were handled in Romania and then they were transported for assembly in Germany.

The construction sector is the largest consumer of steel products today, using around 50% of the world’s steel production.
