Embossed galvanized sheet profile execution

Ebossed galvanized sheet profile 2 mm, execution dimensions 30x100x110x15x45 mEbossed galvanized sheet profilem.

This profile was made for one of our clients, being used to seal an attic (the joint between the roof and the wall).

The profile was made of galvanized sheet, bent on the abkant (bending by embossing). This having a number of 4 bends at 90 degrees.

The client initially sent us a hand sketch in which the size of the profile and the thickness of the material were specified.

After viewing the sketch and a preliminary discussion with the client, we realized what he needs. The next step was the budgeting of the profile, I made the price offer and after making the payment I launched the order in execution.

Ebossed galvanized sheet profile – galvanized sheet and embossing

Galvanized sheet is a carbon steel sheet covered with zinc on both sides.

Galvanizing is the process of applying a protective layer of zinc to steel sheet to prevent rust. The most common method is hot galvanizing, in which the parts are immersed in a bath of molten zinc.

Zinc protects the metal as follows:

• forms a layer that prevents corrosive substances from reaching the base steel;
• serves as a sacrificial anode.

The galvanized sheet has the ADVANTAGE that it can be cut or bent according to the needs of the project.

Due to the ease of adapting the sheet to the desired shape and size. It allows its use in multiple fields and for the production of: car components, electrical frames, constructions, bridges, towers, air conditioning systems, etc.

Embossing is the process of cold deformation of a sheet of small thickness.

Through embossing, known profiles can be made such as: corners with equal or unequal sides, U profiles, C profiles, Z profile, having various sizes of the base and wings. Also, through embossing, different types of atypical profiles can be made. Outside of the standards in terms of shape and size, as well as various parts/semi-finished products.
