H Metal delivered metal products to make the galvanized pipe structure of a cold store. This is a building intended for storing food products in well-specified conditions of temperature and humidity.
The warehouse belongs to Sanlacta, a modern milk processing unit.
Constructions in the food sector require rigorous hygienic conditions.
Regardless of capacity, milk processing plants must be designed in such a way as to comply with the general principles regarding milk and dairy product warehouses.
A milk processing plant must have: technological spaces, storage spaces, rooms for semi-finished products and rooms for finished products.
Each technological and storage space in the milk processing plant is equipped with refrigeration installations and ventilation and air freshening systems in order to ensure an optimal microclimate (temperature, humidity, ventilation), both for the products and for the working staff.
For this metal structure we delivered galvanized pipe, with the following dimensions:
During the galvanizing process, a uniform barrier is formed. As a result, zinc’s natural corrosion resistance provides steel with long-term protection under various environmental conditions.
Galvanized pipe is used in different fields of activity, such as: metal constructions, metal frame making, civil constructions, etc.
The pipes will have some technological holes ø 10 mm at the ends.
Zinc plating standard – EN 1461
Steel grade S 235JRH according to EN 10025 ( OL 37 )
Material: Hot-dip galvanized steel
In order to maintain the corrosion resistance of galvanized pipes, the degradation of the zinc layer must be avoided at the time of their handling/use.
It is recommended that all pipe processing operations be carried out before galvanizing, so as not to affect the zinc layer.
H Metal offers cutting and drilling services for pipes, at the customer’s request.
