Metal products for 3 ton gantry crane

At the request of our customer, metal products for 3-ton gantry cranes were delivered.

With Prolift, one of the most complete brands in Romania in terms of lifting systems, we have a very good collaboration that materializes periodically with various orders.

Their product range also includes gantry cranes. They are used to perform assembly and disassembly operations or assembly and moving parts easily. Gantry cranes can be equipped with manually or electrically operated chain hoists.

A gantry crane consists of a runway made of IPE profile and side poles made of square pipe. The crane is moved by means of 4 polyamide wheels equipped with a locking device.

The raceway is made of IPE profile which allows the mounting of lifting and translation devices.

The advantage of such a crane is to have extreme mobility and stability on all surfaces thanks to the four molded wheels.

Metal products for cranes – advantages and uses

H Metal delivered metal products for 3 ton gantry crane, opening 4 meters, height 5 meters:

– square pipe 200 x 200 x 8 mm;

– square pipe 80 x 80 x 5 mm;

– 330 mm IPE steel europrofile.

The square pipe is obtained from strips of rolled steel sheet, cold processed and longitudinally welded.

This pipe model has a constant resistance along the entire length in constructions where there are loads on two or more axes. It is widely used in industrial maintenance, agricultural tools, transportation equipment, structural components, and building supports.

Europrofil IPE is obtained by the hot rolling technique and has the shape of the letter I.

IPE has the role of optimizing stress resistance and is normally used for the construction of beams, the structure of metal floors, construction of main and secondary structures.
