Structure made of galvanized drawn profiles Z and C

H Metal supplied materials for the construction of an annex to a chicken rearhouse, with a deep-drawn profile structure Z and C. For this construction, a light structure was chosen.

The areas of use of light metal structures can be: industrial halls, warehouses, residential houses, garages, containment, thin-walled roofs, various other annexes.

Galvanized drawn profiles can be used both as main structural elements, but also as secondary elements of resistance structures (as roof wedges or wall rulers).

This type of structures have numerous advantages, due to the products used, among which we can list:

• elimination of material losses;
• quick assembly;
• more finishing and arrangement options;
• greater flexibility;
• reduction of foundation costs, the metal structure being 30% lighter than other types of structures.

Deep-drawn profile structure – advantages

H Metal delivered for this project:

– galvanized profiles Z 200 x 2 mm;

– galvanized C 120 x 2 mm profiles;

The material from which these profiles are made is DX51D+Z100 galvanized steel sheet.

Manufacturing standard EN10162.

Standard zinc EN10346.

Using profiles made of thin sheet metal practically means less steel. The second advantage is the wide variety of sizes that can be obtained (customized profiles can be formed, even small series, without substantial cost increases). It allows designers to arrive at well-optimized and therefore cheaper structural conformations.

Galvanized structures ensure high durability to constructions, without additional maintenance costs.

Through the cold drawing process, cold drawn profiles can be made that are non-standard, from sheet metal of different thicknesses and at different lengths.
