The standard for rolled steels EN 10025 – 2

The standard for hot-rolled steels is EN 10025-2 and specifies the technical delivery conditions for non-alloy construction steels. EN 10025 – 2 applies to hot-rolled construction steel products.

The SR national standard EN 10025:2:2004/AC:2005 is identical to the European standard EN 10025:2:2004/AC:2005.

Regarding the name and nomenclature of rolled steels for construction. Reference should be made to the UNI EN 10025 standard, „Hot-rolled steel products for structural use”.

Steels for structural use must belong to classes from S235 to S460, and their characteristics must comply with the requirements provided by these standards.

These unalloyed steels are steels in which the content of alloying elements falls within the limits indicated in the table.
