Maniki galvanized embossed profiles

One of the clients asked us to make Maniki galvanized embossed profiles used to join two sigma profiles. They can also be used for mounting the corrugated board.

Due to the fact that the sigma profiles cannot be joined, a connecting piece is used to join the two wedges.

The light metal structures, made with galvanized Z, C, U or Sigma profiles, represent a constructive solution that presents a series of advantages. The most important are constituted by:

• reduced execution terms and costs;
• the possibility of performing joint perforations directly on the production line;
• eliminating the time needed for preparation;
• the protection of the metal surface required in the case of using classic systems.

Light galvanized profiles are used for industrial halls (production spaces, warehouses, extensions of existing spaces) and civil constructions (villas, houses, garages, parking lots, roofs with thin walls).

For this order we made:

• 172 pieces at a length of 1000 mm;
• 33 pieces at a length of 170 mm.

These connection profiles were made of 4 mm galvanized sheet. Cut on the guillotine and pressed on the abkant at angles of 45 and 90 degrees.

Embossing is the process of plastic deformation of a sheet of small thickness. Compared to the other dimensions, to obtain the desired shape and size.

The galvanized sheet is made of carbon steel and covered with a protective layer of zinc. This has many advantages, among which can be listed: it can be cut or bent according to the need of the project.

The corrosion resistance of the galvanized sheet is influenced by the thickness of the zinc layer.

Galvanizing is done by immersing it in molten zinc, which allows the formation of a layer of zinc on the metal surface.
