For the construction of a overhead bridge made INP 340 mm profiles, H Metal delivered the necessary metal products to Prolift. The final weight of this bridge is 1.5 tons, with a span of 9.1 m.

The drawbridge has been used since the Middle Ages. The rapid spread of the mobile bridge on a large scale made it possible to quickly achieve standardized technologies and constant dimensions, to make them even more useful.

The overhead crane has a running track at some height above the ground and is used in workshops, assembly halls, foundries, etc. It is used for lifting loads and moving them horizontally.

It is made to order and is customized according to the client’s application (tasks to be handled, dimensional and functional characteristics of the site – height regime, surface, working temperatures, etc.). Overhead bridge made of INP profiles – characteristics

The INP profile is made of carbon steel, using the hot rolling technique and has the shape of the letter „I”, consisting of two wings, one upper and one lower, joined by a central part.

This profile is characterized by a good resistance to bending loads. It is generally positioned horizontally, offloading the load on the supports. It is a constructive element of a structure that combines the following characteristics:

• it has a longer length than the others;
• it is able to support loads applied in the direction of its main axis along a certain length.

In the industrial field, various metal parts for heavy machinery, metal pedestals, etc. are made from INP profiles.
